    In that specific scenario, i'd just overwrite the balance, it's one dps's extra damage vs your MP. A very easy decision.

    This, very much this. I can't stress enough to my co-healers to be selfish. If you don't take care of yourself first and won't use that ewer for your MP you won't be able to heal/support your party. If your DPS party members lose out on a buff, they will still be able to DPS.
