The way people are acting in this thread it's as if the sky is falling. Rather than just speculating about what people think will happen, at least try it first. If it doesn't work, the politely offer ways to suggest it. Crying loud wont do anything at this stage and as it's been stated multiple times, numbers are not final. Playstyle might even change completely in raids, we don't know anything yet. The only people who know were those at the media event and currently the dev and QA teams.

Waiting until we try it to offer feedback offers at least two major downsides.

(1) These forums are a form of stress relief for people concerned about the direction of WHM - waiting obviously removes said form of stress relief.
(2) Waiting means the various issues are on the radar of the dev team for that much less time; just because they probably won't resolve the issues prior to Early Access, doesn't mean that early warning isn't helpful.

There are probably other good reasons for speculation at this stage, too. Regardless, it's not just a useless exercise. Everyone's aware of the fact that Raids might be designed in a way that mitigates our concerns, or that things might be changed prior to the release of Stormblood. Regardless, though, based on what we know now, there are huge problems with the WHM adjustments.

Many of us have seen what changes like this result in. Astro was a completely dead job at release. Practically no one played it until it slowly crept into the meta through a multitude of buffs. To my continual amazement, White Mage is arguably worse off than 3.0 Astro. This won't matter significantly with casual centric content, however people will lock healer roles for Extreme and Savage. I cannot see a single benefit White Mage offers to a raid comp. For a supposedly pure healer, it's outshined by Astro and has laughable utility by comparison. Dedicated healers, especially White Mage mains, have every reason to be upset. The job is absolute garbage compared to its counterparts.

Literally outshined, may I just add. The astro abilities are even just beautiful to look at. WHM is just washed up like that water spell they get to splash themselves with =/
