I am note sure WHM barriers will stack with SCH and AST ones. SCH and AST barriers don't stack. Stoneskin did but it wasn't practical to use during combat unless you had a long down period to cast it 8 times and even then it was a pretty weak barrier spell.
If content is as easy as Creator, we're screwed by default. There's not a single thing in that place that needed big heals, even with progression gear on.

Well Creator was far more successful in their eyes than either Midas or Gordias was. They are adding an ultra hard mode in 4.1 but honestly if the only place in the game where you need big heals is in the very hardest content in the game, don't you think the toolkit is probably a bit too powerful for the gameplay provided? What is the point of having powerful new heals if there is almost no where they are actually needed?

That has been the point many of us WHM have been arguing this whole time. We don't need heals. We don't need to be pure healers. We need some utility and something to mix up in raids
