[Clarification request] Accessories role locked in 4.0, will it affect current gear?

I really hope glamour acc are not locked with the new restriction...I personally only use the emperor stuff because I don't care for acc glamour, but so many people do so this would be a terrible limitation if implemented.

Well...as much as I want to support this completely, we need to consider the new fashions that will be available that we know nothing about...

That said, glam templates for obtained accessories, much like is used with Relics and their replicas, would be an acceptable solution.

Dyeable accesories may be a solution.

I use the lore casting accesories with my SCH as glamour, but if they are going to block the accesories to each role, make them dyeable seems like a good solution, I wonder why this isn't an option yet.

Things tend to dye ugly compared to their natural colors and accents, so this not a solution that would make us happy if we lost accessory glamours we've been using.

- tank (Vit)
- healer (MND)
- caster (INT)
- melee DPS (STR)
- ranged DPS + Ninja (DEX)

I'd say people have no reason to worry about this. None of the current gear is going to change aside from SAM/RDM being added to what jobs can equip what gear. Going forwards, NEW gear in SB will be role locked. No one's current glamours should be affected, and tanks wearing current slaying accessories aren't going to log in on the 16th and suddenly find they can't equip their accessories. As a side note, I really hope we can convince the dev team to not role lock the vit accessories. Those can sometimes come in handy to other jobs needing a HP boost

Instead of scrap the idea and say no, why not ask for a better system?
We all now the actual dye system is crap, you should be asking for an improvement instead of ask for something SE doesn't care about, but they don't care about anything, so whatever I guess.
