Ninjas have been able to troll parties with Shadewalker since 3.0 but you rarely see it.

On a good example on an early wipe in A12S right before the adds' phase started, I usually shadewalker my healer friend so they die first :v
On a bad example on a Dun Scaith run, a NIN shadewalked me (WAR) and forced an early pull while we were waiting for another party's healer to arrive to the arena :/


I can totally see some Healer's Rescuing people into the abyss in places like Ozma tho :v (or helping actually placing them meteors in the right position).

I've had ample experience with "Grip" abilities of both the friendly and unfriendly variety to never want to be affected by them again.

I'd just like a simple option somewhere in the gameplay menu:
[ ] Allow Rescue for no-one
[ ] Allow Rescue for players on your friend list
[ ] Allow Rescue for everyone

And just for the lulz, when a healer tries to use the skill on someone who does not allow it, display the error message:
"This player is beyond Rescue."

Simple solution right there. Alternately, only allow the usage on players that are currently within an AoE indicator. But I'd rather not even get pulled then, personally. Pushbacks and draw-ins are obnoxious regardless of source and intention.

I'd like this. There's always them overly worried types that cry when you hang around an aoe until the last possible moment to get max dps as they think you're going to get hit; something like this only gives them worrywart types the means to control how you play... even if you know what you're doing and have explained to them thoroughly.

probably too late at that point.

for the people comparing it to NIN, the NIN stuff trolling is too subtle. Rescue trolling is more fun cause it's more obvious.

i'm not saying it will actually be abused often but because it's so much more visual, that will entice a few more people to do it here and there.
