They merged all the topics into one and there's plenty of negative posts, don't witch hunt lol. They chose Khalithar as the OP because both of our topics had 0 information and just cried, at least this OP explains what the changes are.
Agreed. This should also mean that almost all PvP modes should be viable at all times. Secure and Slaughter were pretty much dead come 3.0 only due to being level 50.
My topic wasn't for information, I wanted to see what games people who like the current pvp were moving to... I'm not sure how that is crying.
Ironically enough, it was 'cringe elitists' who usually carry the bad players to their rare wins. Because life shows they can't carry their own weight, and it doesn't matter if it's 40 or 9 buttons they have to press.
You're pretty rude. You have no idea the amount of time I have put into the community, or the time I patiently taught people to be better pre-chat nerf. You probably played pvp for 10 minutes before this announcement was made. You're right though, because I'm upset about something I am passionate about, I shouldn't be displeased that I feel like I am getting the short end of the stick. Freedom of speech is overrated.
Pretty much. Some of the worst players in Chaos got carried to Diamond because the better players didn't have a choice but to help them, those people play with nothing to lose whereas some of us actually do care about getting end of season reward. Also a lot of those players actually got to improve by playing with those you claim are cringe elitists. Will probably get a naming suspension for this but I'm past the point of caring - Team Tryhard discord turned Livie Colette from the worst gold ninja on this planet into a fairly decent Diamond-level Warrior within a couple of weeks because outside of feast good players were able to communicate with him and give him advice, else he'd still probably be awful. Wanting to push for a high ranking in a ranked environment doesn't constitute being a "cringe elitist".
I don't think i've ever gone 100 to 0 hype as quickly as this set of announcements. Not only does it look like a huge step back when every other game mode looks way better, but the translator lied to everyone's faces when she suggested that any english speaker's feedback will be taken into account.
The only time Shatter ever got changed, it was a change only Japan requested, and it made 24-mans way worse without making 72s better.
Be honest, current PvP is far from nice. Small community, stuck with 3/4 bad teammates day in and day out, lack of diversity in match ups, non-existent LP. All you need to do is watch 1 of Aviars' streams to see how bad it is and how frustrating current game play is.
If this is what it's going to take to breath life back into PvP, so be it. If the changes are as bad everyone is making it out to be, then we move on.
I'd take devs actually taking the time to look into PvP and giving it a face-lift over what we have right now any day. MOBA's have 4 abilities, yet are crazy competitive. Numbers of skills in game != skill ceiling.
