I have a feeling if WM was ever removed... MCH's would ask for GB to go as well.Agreed, the mechanic works for MCH because they have the bullet gimmick that gives them better control of making their abilities instant. BRD has to rely heavily on RNG for a small handful of abilities to go off instantly. So hopefully they do fix it for BRD/give them a better mechanic.
How many men am I involved with? Well that depends... do you mean men as in males? Or just midlanders?
i'd have to say rather than removing gauss barrel they should just remove cast time because lets be realistic here you bring a gun to knife fighter are you really just going to stand there casting while he rushes you trying to stab you? and you are trying to get a cast off while simultaneously trying to dodge at the same time.. in certain new mechanics they've added to raids and dungeons i find it incredibly annoying that i am interrupted by an annoying mechanic or AoE while i am on Wildfire because this incurs a penalty to my burst damage at the end of the wildfire timer -__-* because it resets the cast.... when you have to move your character. for a job that utilizes a gun as a weapon there should NOT be any casting/magic involved at all.
While I love the creativity, this turns Astro into an undisputed God. 20% reduction on Alex makes him an absolute joke. I mean, that is essentially forcing Echo on him at content. The new meta would be double Astro and Savage would get steamrolled. So... need to scale things back a bit, however I do like it.Healers
Mind: Now scales the potency of DPS abilities for Healers.
Cross Class Skills:
Cleric Stance: Designated a Cross-Class skill. Will now add +10% Accuracy. Each Healer Class will have a trait at level 8 which gives each class a new playstyle and identity.
White Mages - Crusader Stance: All Healing Spells will function as DPS spells when targeting enemies (Still heals allies).
Scholars - Loremaster Stance: Eos/Selene will be transformed into Helios/Oberon. Helios and Oberon will be DPS oriented summons.
Astrologian - Oracle Stance: All Card buffs will become Debuffs applicable to enemies. (Bole increases damage taken, Balance reduces damage dealt, etc...)
Quickcast: A new Cross-Class skill. Duplicate of Swiftcast.
Protect: Becomes a Cross-Class Skill.
New Skills:
Shell: (White Mage Only) Like Protect, but for Magical Damage (acquired at the level Protect was formerly acquired).
Dia: (White Mage Only) A Damage Over Time skill (acquired at the level Cleric Stance was formerly acquired).
We've been told a lot prior and it never happened, wouldn't be the first time people are disappointed with the information provided, if any by any chance at all.
Your media example isn't what I was referring too but good try tho. If I could be bothered I would explain it but I doubt it would be understood.
My post wasn't salty, in fact I just tried to demonstrate what happen in the past, and that if people get to excited about something, they might end up even more disappointed. However my post must have thrown the whole salt shaker right into your soup, because apparently you're trying to discuss with me something you clearly misunderstood and misinterpreted, just for the sake of quoting me and trying to give some opinion that didn't even match the argument. It's a sad day if we need to end or start comments with /s because otherwise people might get all upset about "red" flags they think are in everybody else's post but never really been there to begin with.

They won't make it untoggleable. Yoshi has acknowledged many healers fancy DPS and knows the uproar such a decision would cause. If they actually did... you'll quickly find groups trying to force a one healer and five DPS comp once ilvl sorts out because content simply doesn't hit nearly hard enough to warrant two healers doing nothing but healing. You would also see a sharp decline in people willing to play healers for that precise reason. If the devs don't want healers DPSing, they need to make content significantly more punishing in terms of outgoing damage. I mean, right now, we barely even need a healer for dungeons.

That's exactly what I was thinking. XD I did a few expert roulettes tonight and I was lucky I could stay in Cleric Stance long enough to get down my Shadow Flare and throw out a Miasma 2 before seeing the tanks HP melt away very quickly. However, to be fair, the tanks I played with were doing very large pulls with as many mobs as they could get. On the flip side of THAT, 99% of the time I run an expert or level 60 roulette, this is how the tanks operate.
My longest times I can spend in Cleric Stance are usually during the boss fights in dungeons, unless any of the DPS starts getting hit by mechanics they're not avoiding.
Yeah, I should clarify. This is with a tank who knows what the hell they're doing not the average one you'd find in DF. You also wouldn't be doing some of the mass pulls. Admittedly, I meant it in the hyperbolic sense to demonstrate how powerful tanks are and that healing 100% is only ever required when paired with bad or undergeared players. Apologies for not being more specific. That's exactly what I was thinking.
