I'm sure you agree that gardening can yield large benefits, yea? Loads of people use it as a reliable source of income. It's already so easy to do, and if SE took away the one shred of responsibility you must have to successfully grow something, which is to log on once a day to water plants, then it's basically an idiot and neglect proof way of making a lot of money. I don't think SE would want something that can potentially yield such a huge reward to be so insanely easy to do that you literally cannot fail at it. It's already crazy easy as it is.
Apples and oranges. I mean we may as well argue about how lines of blue orbs don't exist at the borders of cities in real life too.
Yes they can have large benefits depending on what you grown and when. Those that watered daily would still get their goods to market faster. I'm not saying I don't understand your viewpoint, but I personally would simply like to not have to worry about the plant death. I'm getting more forgetful and it'd be nice to not be settling down for the night without "Oh god, I forgot to water the garden didn't I" popping into my head. I've been playing a lot of Stardew Valley recently and it's spoiled me! hahaI'm sure you agree that gardening can yield large benefits, yea? Loads of people use it as a reliable source of income. I confess I have gotten out of my bed because of "oh sh** my plants!" but since making it a habit to tend them when I log in and again when I log out, it no longer happens. I just had to make a routine.Yes they can have large benefits depending on what you grown and when. Those that watered daily would still get their goods to market faster. Maybe a nice compromise would be to pay your retainers ventures to look after your plants? If my retainer can somehow carry a bath tub alone, I'm sure she can manage watering a few plants.
I really like Stardew Valley! Started playing it again recently. I'm so bad at it though.
Tossing 2-3 days worth of ventures to allow a little break from having to login would be nice. I'd probably manage to forget when I initially gave them the ventures of course, but still a nice option.I confess I have gotten out of my bed because of "oh sh** my plants!" but since making it a habit to tend them when I log in and again when I log out, it no longer happens. I thought it did initially. I discovered the next day that wasn't so.I'm not sure exactly how often it rains in the housing districts, but one of the problems with that would be tracking it. With an FC garden you can see what's been tended to in the log, with a personal house you aren't going to know unless you're logged in and actually see the rain.

Not a attack just a suggestion, but if don't want to worry about having to log in everyday and still make decent amount to large amount of gil then maybe crafting would be better route for you to take?Yes they can have large benefits depending on what you grown and when. Oh, I barely put anything from the garden on the mb myself. I think I've sold a handful of the minions I've grown. Most of it goes towards random hide & seek giveaways, fc events and such. I was just talking about in general, as profiting from it was brought up.![]()
