I'm also going to add that people on Mateus had literal YEARS to get to these plots, same as anyone on any other server. If they don't have the gil for it, they don't have the gil for it. Why get upset when someone who has the means gets the house? It IS definitely silly to be upset that someone's alt got something that isn't seeing use. It should sit there and gather dust? Because ...?

Alts with houses on Balmung? Unheard of. The server is sooo packed that's just.. not impossible? But VERY unlikely. We see more 'RPERS GET OUT GROSS CRINGE RPERS GET AWAY FROM MY HOUSE' on placards, than we see 'alt house! '

There -was- a guy who had about five houses and he did just that, but he has quit the game last I heard. So, yep, that does happen.

You also have to consider he bought the houses from other players and probably racked up quite an INSANE amount of gil that he spent on these things. Honestly, if SE lets it happen, it's going to happen. So, one house per account, no FC leaders can have a personal house? ...And people who aren't 'active' enough aren't 'allowed' to have a house either. So, who's allowed to have a house besides an FC?

We just don't know.

Asks the guy who didn't read anything else in the thread. From a technological measure. Nobody cares if you get together and eRP in the bar.

The problem is that the bar has received notices of multiple fire code violations from the city, has paid fines but still insists on back loading people into the bathroom, while there is a guy in the kitchen playing with gasoline.

I don't even want a house since they get demoed if you stop playing for a couple months. I would like a balcony in my apartment so i could grow a few things in pots or something, though. It's nice they are doubling them to 100 from 50 items with SB. Maybe an option to buy one in each city for packrats. Apartments take up no additional space landwise.

These are all great suggestions, but not what this thread is for. There is a plan to continue visibility for the RP server subject, which includes this thread, so please stay on topic, and if you aren't an RPer and have nothing else to add besides the fact that you don't care, please keep your opinion which is both not relevant and invalid to this discussion, to yourself.

The restrictions remained unenforced until now, should we have expected them at some point? Yes. Should SE have enforced them a long time ago or given us some warning, or both? I think it is pretty fair to say yes to this also. The evening of servers of Balmung's size, could take years, and whether you are an RPer, or support it, for the most part all other types of activities don't need new members coming in to sustain, particularly with upcoming cross world capabilities and what we have now.
