Suggestions for extended vacations away from FFXIV??

Currently I'm on vacation outside of the country for over a month and it's killing me that I can't play FFXIV.

Reason being, I just finally hit lvl 60 on a character and I can start Stormblood, and I also had just bought it before leaving. I won't tell my wife that I'm in this much secretive pain over not being able to play on my PC but man! It's killing me!

Any suggestions for when you have to go extended periods of time away from FFXIV?

play with your wife and stop thinking about the game lol, but seriusly find something else to entertain yourself and even more stop coming to the forums you will only punish yourself.

Step 1: Stay away from ffxiv forums.

Did you bring your phone? Load up one of the older games and play that when you have down time, they have everything up to IX I believe on the Appstore, though like others said do pay attention to your wife.

Think it like this. You where enjoying your game, looking forward to the next step, but then secret boss appeared ... Wife.

1month of grinding you will need to defeat this boss to be able to progress. It's mandatory, no point crying about, have to bite the bullet. Eyes on the prize, after 1 month of grinding you are able to proceed so do your best to enjoy the grind also.

Your outside your home country? Man, enjoy where your at. Eat good food, meet new people and see the sights.... just don't be a tourist.... no one likes those.
