That would put certain classes to highly disadvantageous position, and would only cause an issue of "kill stealing" grief. Even if someone with longer cast times would in all earnestly try to participate, they might still not get kills because things are killed while they cast. And some opportunistic runners would not take part in whiddling down the monsters, but just priming in for the killing blow.

waht? you are a team, a kill counts for everyone in the party. it already counts the kills of your party and gives you a highscore at floor 100 and beyond, based on the kills of your party. not to mention that the game counts your kills for some achievments, even when you not even hit the enemy once (as a healer for example).
