This is what they tell to public to avoid any backlash. They do not want to reveal their internal affairs and issues. There may be issues with the upper management of the company. So in the end the come up with a fake tech savvy excuse which you can't really prove so you can't really use a proof against them. This is not a server latency issue at all. This may be a budget issue or a programming issue. Don't expect them to come and admit in public that they do not want to spend more than X amount of money to make it work or that they screw badly with the code and this needs extra work to make it happen. Businesses are all about min effort min budget for max profit.

Eastern Europeans tend to look very noticeably different from Western Europeans. Just like how Chinese and Japanese people look very different.

WoW is a 13 year old game. You can look at pretty much any other MMO out there and see that advanced character customization should not be an issue.

Iirc GW2 and WS while similar style to FFXIV have more creation freedom (like making a "large" person in GW2), of course slider heaven would be like Black Desert or even Aion (although you can make some pretty horrific characters too lol). So perhaps for certain things choosing a panes like GW/WS/FFXIV and working from there might be good if people don't want to allow the creative abominations hehe.

I would honestly be happy if they just increased the impact of the muscle slider. It's a bit sad that every male looks like a malnourished tween.

Yeah, and I've mentioned this in the past for similar threads, but sliders aren't even really necessary. We just need a lot more "preset" options for body shape, face, eyes, nose, jaw, mouth, features (including scales, tails, scars, other markings), and the ability to use more than one of the "makeup" options.

Sliders would have been the best option. But if they can't do that. I will be happy with more presets as you say. More faces, more body types, eye shapes noses. 4 faces for a top tier premium MMORPG in 2017 is simply not enough.

Have a 16:9 (wich is the standart these days) and your PS3 has 4:3 screen setting.
The TV stretches the 4:3 to 16:9. Everything looks <-20%->
Result: everyone got an ass. Everyone looks like Normal people!
