We know that but I'm pretty sure there will be more than 40 new gathering items. Not including beast tribe currency, glamor, and other items. Even at 80 I doubt that will cover all the new items we will get. Plus for crafting you may need old items just like with heavensward. Especially those of us who are already at max.

Even with that we still need to tell them it is not enough (How do we know they will add enough given the lack of addressing this issue in 2 years?) and worried over the item bloat like we got in HW. We need a reduction in items to hold more then space, fish bait box, and other things to slim down the item space.

It's taken them two expansions, though, to get this step. Even if they do add more (which "we'll test the performance and then decide" does not guarantee), it's likely to be another couple expansions before we see it.

What we really need are features that help reduce our inventory requirements in order for the space they've given us to last long term. That's what this thread's really about.

Yeah that is the main focus, hence the title, if they can't do that for some reason we need more space then, something needs to give. I am sure they can put something in the game to let us manage items easier. I really suggest tossing out the retainer system completely and build something completely new (including how market boards are handled, like how sell things etc ) since the retainer system is based on 1.0 and really needs to go.

You do know these steps if at the speed of other steps is close to years. Write this down and feel free to bring this back up. If we see an increase of 40 and another increase before the next 4.inventoryadded+x so 4.1 to 4.15. I will buy you a minion off the cash shop. I am feeling pretty safe.
