Suggestion as to how to get people to become healers.

People on the highway are trying to get to their job on time (dps-check) but their boss (the Boss) is a tight-ass with schedules because he hates them and wants to see them fired (wipe). Did you get that analogy?

Eh, not really. People on the highway are trying to get to their job on time (DPS-Check). Unlike them, I leave my house early and get to work early (Prepared for the Dungeon). I also stay out of the passing lane, so they can speed past me if they want to (avoiding Savage/Extremes).

My responses are, 'Everyone enjoys the game in a different way. This is how I enjoy the game and why I don't heal anymore.' You can be perfectly capable of doing something and still not do it for whatever reason you want. Just because I can cook lunch doesn't mean I won't go out and get something from a restaurant if I feel like it. Just because I can do my own taxes doesn't mean I won't go down to the local H&R Block to get them done by a professional (I worked there for a while, I know how to do taxes, I just like to give back to the company).

Does it bother you this much to know there are people out there who avoid something because they have a different choice in their playstyles from your own? FFXIV isn't a job for me. Its a hobby. I'm not aiming for some kind of promotion when I play this game.

Cleric Stance boosts your outgoing damage potency by 10%, without Cleric, that 10% is gone resulting in an overall DPS reduction.

And if Cleric Stance was gone and MND provided that 10% DPS boost Cleric Stance previously provided then... where's the DPS loss?
