It's just an excuse to invalidate someone's opinion. I'm waiting for their response to mine. "Well..clearly your dragoon is only iLevel 243, and everything else iLevel245ish. Uhm, no? OP is claiming all jobs play the same at level 60 compared to how they play at level 50. Which isn't true. BRD, BLM, and SMN are completely different at level 60 compared to how they play at level 50, and OP has leveled none of these to 60. So they don't have the experience to say "All DPS jobs play the same regardless of level."

The more adequate comparison would be: "God, I hate playing healers because it's boring standing there hitting Cure/Benefic/Physick on a tank all the time, and doing nothing else," yet never having leveled a healer past level 15 or at all. And OP does have a point. Once the cap is raised to 70, I'm sure there will be a difference in playstyle compared to level 60. However, their point is being lost due to their over-exaggeration and lack of experience to justify any of their claims.


No one is invalidating the OP's opinion; they just don't have an informed opinion to begin with due to lack of experience. You can't form a solid opinion on something without experience. It's like the "I hate vegetables" argument. How do you know unless you try them?


And I'm sorry. I just can't with their comment about how people who "barely speak English" come to complain at them, yet their posts are littered with spelling errors, abbreviations (is it really that hard to use "easy" instead of "ez"), and poor grammar. That's all fine and dandy if you want to point fingers at those who you perceive to "barely speak English," but at least use proper spelling and grammar if you're going to do so. You just look ridiculous laughing at these people (who I don't even see in this thread) when your opening post uses the phrase "weenie hut jrs" or whatever crap that is. Even more ridiculous than you have made yourself to be already.

You're better off channeling that energy into remembering to put on poisons once before the battle starts.

make one comment about that time you forgot your poisons and every raging ranged dps player comes in here acting like you've said you run entire raid nights trick attacking the boss from the front getting hit with cleave and not realizing you didn't put poison on xD

Never in my life did I think I'd ever get to see someone complaining about positional requirements, and their specific focus would be Dragoon of all things.
Here's a quick tip when having issues with tanks playing sprinkler with a boss: "can you stop spinning the boss, please".

Well I haven't played Dragoon since Titan was current content. The issue I took with it was never that positionals existed (Monk was my primary DPS) but Dragoon was complete aids with combos breaking and not getting heavy thrust buff if position suddenly changed. Since then, the job has received many much needed changes and is a lot better now.

but man have you ever tried telling a tank in df what to do or actually tried doing good dps

they get all mad and everything like you just asked if you could smash the front end of their car for a music video and bang their wife and said you were going to do it anyway even though they said no
