I'd also really like the option to have /smirk or /smile as a default expression, since female Au Ra face 4 has no options that don't look super serious, whereas all of the other faces have at least one that looks more relaxed/cheerful.

So glad to see this thread here, I'd love this as an option!

i would love for like 2-3 basic facial expressions you can pick. Kind of like you can pick what idle pose youd
like your character to have.
However, id really keep it limited to 2-3 expressions.
otherwise, there's gonna be people running around with a permanent hildibrand style troll face smile ("Most gentlemanly" emote)
Yes yes yes. My Au'Ra alway looks mean. Can please have different permanent facial expressions?

Thankfully the Most Gentlemanly emote isn't just a facial expression, but I do share your concern. The simpler emotes would be more than enough.i would love for like 2-3 basic facial expressions you can pick. Kind of like you can pick what idle pose youd

/smile
/somber
/suspicious
/agitated
/sleepy
/stoic
/nervous
I suppose SE could always just add a /changeexpression or /changeface command though. Cycle through existing ones, set them as permanent until changed.

I like my character's relaxed face (it always looks sort of angry anyway) whereas the smiles make me cringe. Alert and Taunt are the only expressions he's ever allowed to use without things getting too dorky.
In any case, I support this as not everyone is blessed with my character's naturally grumpy face and it would certainly add a lot to interactions. I have a friend who hates her character's sweet expression and had to bind the frowning expression to its own dedicated button for constant use.

To be fair, Elezen tend to have a nicer selection of passive faces to choose from on character creation.

There is now the category for facial expression which are all non permanent. I see no reason against making all of them toggleable. Just add into their macro comand line option on/off, using it without either would be like now. Would some people run around with permanent shock, maybe, but there's already some questionable glamour choises running around within the current system. Jokesters always find their way and the novelty would wear down quick enough. This would also give depth for RP where most event are of the longer nature and if someone is sad or happy or afraid or what have you, it would better set the mood is that could be reflected on their face. As the facial expressions are now, they are so short lived that they are practically useless.

Ok, Ill chime in for my support on this. Most people arent zoomed in anyways. Only time I see more social activities is when I host a FC event for the socalite events.

I would definitely love if they added more facial expressions. My lizard has resting b*tch face, and I find that he looks a lot nicer to be around, when he makes other expressions. Sometimes he looks even prettier.![]()
