[Request]: Permanent Facial Expressions

Make this a thing SE. All the resources are in game and even unlocked o the player. Just change those "1"s to "0"s and make it happen. To walk with my eyes wide instead of squinting would be wonderful.

This thread is pretty old but I just felt the need to throw my whole-hearted agreement behind it.

They could set it up like the /cpose command (/expression or something like it) so we could set our "resting" facial expression. Sure, there's going to be the Herp Derpington's out there that permanently set their expression to "shock" or something equally ridiculous, but hey, if they want their avatar to look like a moron, it should be their prerogative to do that.

Please, oh great and mighty program masters of FFXIV, give this to us. PLEASE! (Hell, I'd even drop some dead presidents in the Mog Station for this ability, and I'm fairly sure many other people would join me in doing so, were the option available.)

I'd rather like it if the current facial expressions would just last longer. They could make it like the poses for /changepose where you can set it from 1 to 10 seconds.

Personally I think it would be really weird to see other characters smiling constantly, or looking worried, sneering and so on.
Female Miqo'te with face option 3 and specific mouth options already smile constantly and that already looks weird sometimes. In some serious or sad cutscenes with female Miqo'te NPCs with that face I often think "Huh? Why is she smiling now?".

They just need a few more "resting face" options. The reason everything does what it does is because that is the neutral face for talking. So there's only like three modes for it, normal, angry, and sad. Everything else tends to be "emote, switch to neutral"

And if we could get different resting face options, please bring it to the forum avatar/lodestone. This is just my opinion but certain face combinations make some avatars look like they are perpetually angry.
