Aye, but that doesn't apply to everyone on that side of the fence. Some people legitimately feel the game isn't ready to be payed for or some simply can't afford to do so. I think that's fine and I hope those people return eventually.

The problem are the people who are only playing because the game is free and feel SE is "all up in their kool-aid" by bringing in subscriptions.

For some people, the game is worth a subscription. For others, it isn't. Either way, it's SE's choice on the direction they go, and it they choose full subscriptions, they will still have a playerbase which generates at least a little revenue.
