Quantify huuuuge (hint: it's much closer to 10% than 30%). I distrust "facts" proclaimed by people who speak in terms of "huuuuge" and "deal".
WM forces a higher skill requirement to make the same damage output, but also raises the potential damage ceiling (at a much higher skill level requirement). A well-practiced raider will be able to manage this. Average DF member (possibly not on their main class) will likely not show a marked increase. If they aren't using WM, then I suggest that you don't force them to learn it on the spot. You will regret it. Maybe point them toward SSS as a homework assignment. It will encourage them to beat their own scores, and WM will become necessary if they desire to push to the last couple of dummies for savage Creator. (I fully support something like SSS as a gatekeeper for that content, as simplistic as it is)

Don't queue on weekends then, I am not even sure if I can get surprised anymore with some of the MPK/trolling and premade trolling id found.

Also 10/10 if the issue is a rush leveler with everything --- cept a 15 that is required to have whatever job they are on and they turn around and snap at you for giving any kind of advice.

The game has become so needlessly convaluted, it's no wonder this is turning into an "epidemic".

Exactly. The way to handle the problem is already known by anyone who has ever dealt with this issue. My point is if you wanna come here and complain just to get it off your chest and create a new thread that has been the topic of discussion for years (like literally once a week for a thousand weeks), then do you. Its just not doing anything to resolve it. You're just complaining. and you're complaining to people that isn't even the cause of the issue. The people that need to hear the complaints have no idea anyone is even complaining.

As long as that is understood, then cool lol.

In all fairness about the NIN poison, sometimes we space out and forget after being synced. You show me a NIN main that never forgets I'll show you a lair.

Happens frequently with protect too. When I was leveling AST, I forgot protect pretty frequently while I was spamming synced dungeons.

That's what happens with apply and forget buffs. Might as well not even have them.

But if you want i can stop playing as bard completely and never play as bard again.
I mean, you've always got a healer in the party who can DPS. And maybe not so well known but Ninja's Raiton benefits from Foe's as well. Not saying to put the job down but I do know not everyone knows/thinks of these things.

This reminds me of how MMOs are like a microcosm of society, when you think about it. An environment governed by individuals far removed from its constituents. Performing your predefined role under conditions you have little to no control over, despite paying your taxes monthly. Raging against the seeming apathy and disinterest of the masses towards improving their livelihoods. Just look outside your window; not exactly utopia out there, filled with CEOs, doctors or lawyers. Most likely your targeted audience also do not care for players ranting at each other anymore. No one is fighting for their survival here and your satisfaction is probably the least of their worries.

In the end, just focus on what makes you happy. If trying hard makes you happy, do it. Because I bet setting the example is more like to teach people than straight up criticism. That's also why it's a plus that the game lets you play all classes/jobs. When you play as DPS, you can, over time, kind of watch and pick up what the tanks and healers are doing. And vice versa. If a player doesn't feel like budging there's not a lot you can do about it. Maybe they should try implementing a spectator mode, kinda like shadowing someone, where you can see what actions they are using in an instance while watching it unfold.

    No point getting frustrated.

Huge as in "if you don't learn how to use it you are holding your party members back". Honestly saying "it's only like 10%" to excuse other players poor performance is worse than those that don't use it. Blm not using enochian? Oh leave him alone this isn't savage. I'm not forcing anyone to learn anything, but i expect them to try, and you should too. I'd love to see you do a birb farm with 7 other players who ignore core aspects of their job. Or even expert roulette with 3 others. Cuz guess what... THAT'S WHERE THESE PEOPLE END UP! Why don't we organize an a11s learning party for next week, I'll find 7 "special snowflakes" from my df travels and send them your way. Stop holding the bar so rediculously low.
