I say yes to Marragee in game. It's a fun extra for all those rp'ers and adds a small sense of immersion. Maybe both ppl need to be on each others friends list in order to marry each other (small, pointless restriction which came to mind lol)
IF it is done, same sex marrages do need to be implimented. Not being silly, but we're in the 21st century. It's time the "same sex issue" was no longer an issue.

While I would certainly prefer there not be limitations on who can marry who, be they gender or race or whatever else, we aren't in the 21st century, we're in the Sixth Astral Era. I'd much prefer the conventions of who can marry who be based on the game's lore than it conform to modern, real-world morals.
.. Luckily however it doesn't look like the Eorzean realms have anything much against homosexuality anyway so, well, yay!

I say yes. Just so that there will be more drama stories floating around about people giving away all their time & gil for an e-relationship that turned out bad.
'Know what'd be nice?
If, when marriage is implemented, it's region-specific. So a marriage held in Gridania would say.. have fine wooden armbands instead of rings maybe, and a padjal presiding over the ceremony. Meanwhile Ul'dah.. well, I suppose that would be a ring, wouldn't it? I suppose the marriage'd be performed by one of Nald's priests? And Limsa Lominsa.. one of the admiralty? Or a captain maybe? Probably they'd use rings and all unless the developers could come up with something more appropriate..

I know it isn't love, but it isn't just a certificate. lol There is a reason why people get married, and most of the time, its because the two are planning on being with each other for the rest of their life. Its more of an investment than anything else.
However, when speaking in terms of video games, weddings are seen on a level as boyfriend/girlfriend type of deal. If they have not actually gotten married in real life already.
My miqo'te path companion wants me on the bed. So, you are right about the homosexuality in this game. We also have Reinheart, who everybody thinks is sexy, whatever race or gender you are. While I would certainly prefer there not be limitations on who can marry who, be they gender or race or whatever else, we aren't in the 21st century, we're in the Seventh Umbral Era. I'd much prefer the conventions of who can marry who be based on the game's lore than it conform to modern, real-world morals.

What about polygamy?
