oh my bad ;p its getting late -.- the devs want to put it in, just a matter of getting it done, I am sure it is on the list of things to do once 2.0 is out.

Why would anyone care if two people got married in the game anyways? If it is implemented ad people do not like it, then they have the choice to not even bother with it.
I think it would be better than having to publicly RP the entire wedding in front of people who probably wouldn't like it. Adding something like Weddings in FFXIV is the same value cost as adding in a barber to change your hairstyle. It won't effect the rest of the game at all.
i vote no to weddings in game in general, they are a pointless waist of resources. they were almost never used in ffxi. i doubt most care to use it. it's like the chocobo races and pretty much any mini game or side thing in ffxi, no one did them and those rooms and zones were empty all day. people ask for halls and stuff, i never see anyone in them. i surely don't want to sit in a room and chat or emote or roll play all day. if i'm not progressing in game i am offline.
if they did waist there time adding them then yeah same sex is cool, but meh in general this isn't aol ..and granted it's a rpg but it's a mmo and the masses aren't here to get married ...they are here to kick arse and chew bubble gum.

Unfortunately it's easier for people just to waste their time and complain about it instead of just doing nothing at all. If they wanted to push for the things they want in-game, they should be making threads for that instead. Don't you think?

I don't chew gum. I chew tobacco. In any case, people really have to stop speaking for the masses. No offense to you, but it's just the way that you present yourself that some can see as...embarrassing. In any case, thanks for sharing your two cents about it instead of trolling the thread.
u now what i meant though, we playing the game, also i don't speak for masses ...but i already stated a fact, the rooms are empty. thus i am speaking for the masses. if the collosium in ffxi was empty all day long, i can pretty much say i'm speaking for the masses that it sucked and shouldn't be readded to the game. i'm not trolling, it's my opinion, it's not your opinion obviously. but when they waist time creating this over even 1 more side quest or mini boss or nm or anything in game then it's a waist ..it's not my 2 cents it's my lol 13bucks. it's mmorpg, not mmoaol. ty.I don't chew gum. I chew tobacco. In any case, people really have to stop speaking for the masses. No offense to you, but it's just the way that you present yourself that some can see as...embarrassing. Thats true, we are here to kick ass, but others may even tell you that they are here to just craft, and cry about not being able to get their Company Chocobo without having to level a battle class.i vote no to weddings in game in general, they are a pointless waist of resources. they were almost never used in ffxi. i doubt most care to use it. it's like the chocobo races and pretty much any mini game or side thing in ffxi, no one did them and those rooms and zones were empty all day. people ask for halls and stuff, i never see anyone in them. i surely don't want to sit in a room and chat or emote or roll play all day. if i'm not progressing in game i am offline.

There are different people that play these games, and while they are not out leveling, I am sure that they wouldn't mind playing a card game or getting married to the one they love. I think it should be implemented but I still think it is a bit early to do so. Maybe once the game ages a few years more then they can start thinking about it.
I really don't know what it was in FFXI, but a lot of my friends have met their lovers on that game, including myself. I think FFXIV will have that same potential once it starts picking up some subs.
I'm absolutely amazed this thread hasn't been locked for being so off the wall bonkers...Oh well *Grabs popcorn*
