This is the whole point, they will still expect you to dps because they dont understand you have to heal as well

That would just be stupid. I play lots of SCH, I love DPSing as a healer, but if I see my co-healer in Cleric Stance when three people in my party are dead I'll be outraged.
Healing comes first. We're just trying to say that DPSing is a lot better than standing around during those times when everyone is healthy, which tends to be a lot of the time when your party knows what they're doing. That's all. Naturally, if people are being hit by unnecessary stuff and are low on health or dead, you should not be DPSing because you'll need all the time and MP you can get to keep the party alive.
This is just logic, it ain't hard.
Think my point is if your co healer feels pressured enough to be seen dpsing their asses off instead of healing when they should it is pressure all round, plus, as so many state hear you can solo heal most content the belief is perpetuated especially in non healers that dont have a clue like for example ' If I see a healer not dpsing I will vote kick' The expectation is created by expert healers saying ' its easy' when In reality in current content it really isnt. Im not even sure if the pro dps healers are even admitting this difficulty , are always playing in good groups, or they actually are so good that its never a problem.

who is "they"? Nobody here has condoned that, and that is not normal behavior on at least my server, and I bet others can vouch that this is not normal or accepted behavior on any other servers.
Toxic people exist, but we move on from that and find better people, that is the way MMOs work.
Right just go to my own thread and find it then. Its an actual quote . Ive seen it and many comments similar. From mostly people that dont heal. I play this game as a healer, I dont even need to give quotes to experience this expectation and pressure, and what its doing, do you think I live on an island? And no alot of the toxicity has gone from here but not out there in the gamewho is "they"? Im sorry if you dont understand what Im saying lambadfish but I did answer in my own way and Im sorry if you dont see that. I understood your point you were asking me as quote ' who are they?' so I told you who 'they ' are. As you didnt seem to have seen it, you also stated that no one here has said it which is wrong as I take 'here' as being on the forums. So my point is being expected to dps even when you cant is correct. 'note if I see a healer not dpsing I will vote kick' My comment quote ' they will still expect you to even if you cant'

Do we really need to go over this again? Please Feyona, I'm tired of it.......Im sorry if you dont understand what Im saying lambadfish but I did answer in my own way and Im sorry if you dont see that. This thread and quote you are talking about... don't expect others to find it for you, it makes for an incredibly weak argument and doesn't put your point in a very good light. The quote (?) that you just posted is also so out of context it hurts. Does that mean in casual content? in raid content? does it mean if they are idling? You don't see these factors, you just ASSUME that the standard attitude is DPS no matter what, which is simply untrue.
If you can give me concrete evidence that anything but the sheer minority of players that you come across expect DPS no matter how intensive the healing, then I will concede defeat and I'll even eat my hat. So far you have used the word "them" and given out of context, unsourced quotes that even if they were in context and sourced is merely anecdotal and doesn't represent a wholesome view of the issue.
Your so wrong and you obviously dont understand my points your the one always trying to argue with me and you dont main heal, so why cant you just accept this is the game experience there is alot of expectation for healers to dps and with no offence to amelia verves above that she stated above that she kicked a non dpsing healer. There is your pressure. Its up to amelia if she doesnt want that in her group but the rest of some people would like to heal without that pressureDo we really need to go over this again? Please Feyona, I'm tired of it.......
