I'm like 99% sure you're asking for a significant net loss to the group's DPS just to avoid the DRK having to put even one iota of thought into how they use their abilities.

It's really not. Go in with a premade and have them parse a massive pull. Waiting until blood price falls off to do your holy spam is not a huge ask. And I'm not saying "don't dps." I'm saying "show some awareness and consideration with respect to an ability the tank just put up, which is dependent on the group of enemies NOT being stunned."

Okay. Do you mean you did it both ways, with holy spamming through blood price, and holding it til blood price was over? Or are you just hinging this solely on your holy spam regardless?

I know what my AOE and single target DPS look like, and what you're asking for will in many cases result in me missing the window in which AOE makes sense. Whether Blood Price is up or not is immaterial. It can be understood as you wanting me to not DPS for the first 15 seconds of a trash pull. It's also where the value of Holy's stun is the greatest, since it reduces the most incoming damage. Whatever anyone may think of WHM DPS, WHM reducing the damage people take is definitely in line with my job as a healer. As nice as Blood Price is, the DRK has other ways to get mana back, and not min/maxing Blood Price isn't going to leave them unable to use Unleash ever again.

I would trust you, but..... your cohorts fail me utterly 99% of the time. A bard who actually uses Paean to prevent my pacification gets my comm every time.

You do realize LB gets wasted half the time because neither DPS uses it, right?

The DPS you have been paired with over the years have wasted LB 50% of the time? It's been an extremely rare occurrence for me and I main SCH.

It seems likely that wasn't meant to be an exact figure, but simply to convey that the DPS often make poor or no use of LB, which is probably why healers are telling DPS to LB.
