This is a thread I have wanted to make for quite some time now. In a nutshell it is a list of suggestions/wishes/orders for members of your party. As I have played every role and every class at least a little I think I have every point of view covered, but feel free to add something if I missed it.

From the tank

Dear healer. Do not ask for bigger pulls. I know how much aggro I can confortably manage.

Dear DPS. Pulling the mobs is MY job. If you are pulling I'm going to assume you can deal with it without me.

Dear Summoner. Your Titan-egi isn't helping. In fact it just makes things more difficult.

From the healer

Dear party members. Let's not split up, shall we? I can only heal those who are within range. If you go to the other side of the PotD floor to check teasure chest while the tank is fighting, you will be alone and likely die.

Dear ranged DPS. You really don't have to stand right next to the boss. If you are hit by every attack it just gives me unnecessary extra work.

Dear injured party member. Don't run away. If you move out of range or break line of sight I can't save you.

From the tank and the healer

Don't call me tank, healer or any variation of my class/job name. It's very rude and if I'm offended I might just let you die.

From the DPS.

Dear tank. Before you kite half the dungeon into one room check what kind of damage we do. If there is nobody with reasonable AoE damage in the group it really isn't a good idea to do big pulls all the time. Also, kiting mobs is boring for anyone who isn't a machinist or a bard. And melee DPS classes don not like it when half a dozen mobs place their AoE markers at the same time.

From the ninja

Dear tank. If I'm casting Doton it is not something for you to avoid and drag mobs out of. I have put it there for a reason.

Dear warrior, stop letting storms eye fall off you have TWO rotations, c'mon...and stop using and upholding that bloody storm path instead of eye in situations where you don't have to. You're killing your dps, the pld/drks dps and most importantly MY dps because you don't know your rotation. Go away and learn your class.

dear BRD, id also like to ask you why you dont turn on your Mage Ballad to help refill my MP faster while we are running to gather the next couple of mobs.
Especially If I'm asking you to.
It means I can go all out even more and you are really really boosting my DPS by a lot as a WHM by giving me more MP,
also...if you do it inbetween the pulls, you DO NOT lose out on your ATK.

I'm sometimes surprised by the number of warriors who let eye fall off, even if only for 1-2 gcds, in favour of using butcher's block combo in their berserk rotation right before pacification. I can't help but notice it, even when playing as drg, since my main job is war. I can't imagine how bad it'll be if I actually play nin instead of drg.

Oh and I also hate tanks who turn the boss unnecessarily when it has no front cleaves, or those who don't preposition themselves to minimize uptime loss for melees when the boss moves/jumps/does mechanics, like for traps in a10s. As a tank I never noticed how annoying that was until I tried playing as a melee dps.

It's HORRIBLE lol. I noticed it as i picked up ninja again (i always used to play war before) and because i care about my performance and how it's help the team, i want to put out as much dps as possible, which of course makes me keep an eye out for buffs and debuffs. This is when i noticed how many warriors that have no clue as to what they are doing with their class.

there are warriors that :

-spam butchers block which means they dont even have maim up ever (called 3 out in a9s pugs)
-that use butchers block > path > butchers block path........wtf??????
-open up infuriate > fell cleave (this one makes me cry, i've seen it a lot too)
-haphazardly uses eye and path like they use it but randomly use it
- warriors that use butchers block > haeavy swing > main > heavy swing > skull sunder > butchers block ( confuses the hell out of me like where's eye at??)

A lot of these come into savage content and i have to begrudgingly lower my personal dps and carry them or risk calling them out and making things awkward.

Please, for the love of the twelve, TURN ON DARKSIDE. It should only be off if you're in-between pulls and need to regenerate MP.

omg omgggg this too. Not only is your dps is effected big time, you can't use certain mitigation like dark dance which even helps add to your dps with reprisal + low blow procs. TURN ON DARKSIDE PEOPLE.
