are you implying my job is to idle around doing nothing while the 2dps are doing 500ish dps while I'd do 3-4 times as much as a WHM? (<-- not an exaggeration,happened far,far more than once)
Every good DRK ive met so far could handle their MP despite WHM Holy Spam very well and even told me to "not worry about their mp".
DPS is key, no matter what you say and as long as everyone is alive, im legitimately doing my job.

A good WHM is a LEGIT 3rd decent dps WHILE keeping everyone up and alive. Sacrificing that potential for your Blood Price is insane.

PS: you're doing me a favor by kicking me in that case, because THAT party who will be doing that certainly is going to be far from good or fast.

You guys are trying really hard to make this personal and are reading into this what you want to see. I'm certainly not sitting in Cleric Stance 100% of the time, but I can heal most pulls in Sohm Al (Hard) and Baelsar's Wall with a single Regen cast right as the tank stops moving and maybe a Tetra at some point during the pull, with out-of-combat regen taking care of the rest. This gives me a lot of time to DPS, as there isn't really anything else to do, and I can do some pretty serious DPS, often being higher than both of the other DPS overall. This speeds up runs quite a bit, which helps all of us. I like healing, but unless the entire party is committed to being terrible, there generally isn't any to do in a lot of content, so my priority switches to spending as little time on my 120th run of Sohm Al as possible. This is perfectly reasonable on my part.
