    Current primals are just introductions and the path to unlock the Extreme version. Many posters in here haven't even attempted or cleared the Extreme versions, so they don't have a good basis saying they are waste.

    Only EXs really have any trouble filling and that is mainly because they are either not in a roulette or only in the mentor roulette. The trial roulette actually does a good job filling the hardmode/storymode trials.

    They will be buffing the roulette rewards in SB so things should improve even more.

    It wouldn't take much, just a few shiny objects of questionable practical value; the fanbase is quite easily motivated by glamour.
    Until the players who want them have all the pieces they want and then they would die. Consider Odin, after players got their glamour and card rewards they stopped queuing for it until WT was added.

    I just wish they would do primals like in ARR. the basic mode is quick and easy and you get to the see primal. The hard mode version grants a weapon that is decent for starting the endgame content. Extreme 's are for players that want extra hard encounters and grant more powerful rewards. I love the primal fights. It's like raid light content that doesn't require large chunks of time in any one sitting.

    Well, worth considering for Stormblood's Primals, but currently it's a pretty moot point to add them into the game for all of 2 months, even a player gearing from fresh 60 would use that weapon for two or three days before they replaced it.

    Could it "possibly" be that people are considering the trials a waste "because" they have no interest in the extreme version in the first place and therefore never bothered to step into them?

    People usually don't call content they semi-regularly engage in a "waste", but rather content they (and large parts of their social circle) don't engage in.

    No. If I had to fight trash for 20 minutes just to fight a watered down, mediocre version of these trials, I would never do them.

    I had too much fun with Thordan EX & Sephirot EX, and if they were placed in dungeons, the fights would not have been nearly as challenging.

    Which is completely fair, but doesn't make them correct in their claim that it's a waste.
    At how few people playing or enjoying content is something a waste? Is it proportionate to how much dev time it takes to make the content? What's the magic ratio?

    Some people would want us to drop the MSQ all together and only have the devs focus on Savage Content.
    Some would want us to complete drop Savage Content and triple the focus on glamour.
    Some would want us to put a much greater emphasis and reward for crafting, perhaps at the cost of how rewarding other aspects of the game are.

    I think it's fair to say that a lot of the features square adds into the game are compromises on things like these. It'd be imposible to find something we could point at and directly call a waste team resources.
