More rewards needed. Not just top 100 ranked, but something attainable for everyone else to make them want to play. Play X amount of matches in a season to get something nice. Every season could have both gearsets and mounts, and just rotate around which reward is assigned to playing lots of matches and which one is for being in top 100 rankings.
It's dwindling because everyone is realizing what a shitty game mode it is and generally unfun. You would have more players participate if it was actually a blast to play - even if there were zero rewards. I'm sick of all these mounts and minions being shoved down everyone's throats for an incentive to show up...

I don't consider myself a super good healer in PVP, but remember not everything is healer's fault, so do your part.

    - Don't run from your healer. Sometimes we can't heal you running too far away (like a WHM without CD's) so if you're in danger, run to your healer's sight, not out of it. It happened to me many times, like a NIN on Sprint running to the enemy, wich is running to his base (clearly a bait from the enemy) and that NIN is being focused by all the enemy team but I can't heal him because he's on Sprint and running for me. Game-throwers like that are the most common, they forget about the team and then remembers it when they die.

    - Healers can't heal you if you're behind a wall. For real. So if you're at, let's say, less than 50% HP, being focused and plan to attack somebody who's far away/behind a wall, think it twice, unless your healer is near and is able to move to heal you. Give him some time to move to you, or check if he's being CC'd, preventing him to heal you.

    - Check if your healer is slept or stunned, use Purify on him in that case so he can heal you. If it's hard for you to track it on party, keep a focus on him or even do a macro to purify your healer/focused target so you can clean a 8-sec sleep or a stunn.
Remember that the enemy will always try to CC your healers when they focus somebody else (maybe you) so it's important to act fast and keep a track of that.

Yesterday I had many problems with people running from me or running behind a wall while I was being focused/stunnlocked.
I know you want to do a lot of DPS and insta-kill others, but in Feast you've gotta think about your team situation, too.

And again, I don't consider myself a pro-healer, but there's nothing we can do if you throw yourself into some situations and forget about your healer, so try to do your part instead of going solo!

If you've been careful and took into consideration everything and still fail, then yeah, it might be healer's fault 100%.

    PS: Sorry for my engrish

I'm not gonna claim that those losses were all the healers fault nor am I absolved of any blame, but I saw some genuinely bad play in those runs from ranks that I shouldn't even be queue'd with. It's very tiring waiting 30 minutes to be defeated in less than 2 minutes.

If anything we need less rewards per match, with tomestones being a good starting point.
I'd queue a lot less. I enjoy PvP but honestly the tomestones make me want to do it more since I know I can always give PvE a try when I get bored. If I had to choose though, it's a no-brainer in an MMO - you take the PvE option. The queues are already extortionate, if you want better matchmaking with terrible queues by all means by my guest, but I cba queueing for 40 minutes to -possibly- get 25 rating.

Seriously, welcome to Feast. This has always been the issue for just about everyone. The higher your rank, the higher chance you're going to pull lower rank teammates. Being a high ranked tank is the worst, you have the least amount of general match control and you are almost always going to have a lower ranked healer and dps.

Feast works when you get all equal skilled players on both sides, then it is a ton of fun. The key to manipulating feast is playing at a peak time, and stopping if you keep getting bad players.

I know it sucks, but that's how it works, or switch to a different class (IE: the class of the bad players) so eliminate them from being on your team.

Everyone in the top 100 has gone on 10 or 20 loss streaks multiple times, we all have our superstitions regarding when to queue etc.

The only way i've seen to take place in feast and not worry about this is if you have time and can play in 20+ matches a day, everyday.

Did the Platinums and Diamonds quit already....? I used to get fast queues in the evening and early morning past 4 and now I'm getting "More than 30min" in the evening o.o.

Queues in the morning have stopped.

Coming from someone who uses a PvP discord - people stop queueing for multiple reasons, but the main ones are frustration at losing so much rating because of the matchmaking system ie being plat and being matched with bronzes/silvers, or being matched with other plats that got carried there by good teammates because if you queue enough games no matter how badly you play; you'll get gold/plat - the frustration is further exaggerated by being unable to help people or tell them what to do because the chat is so limited. Then there's the fact that you kinda do all that for lack of a true meaningful reward other than a ladder spot; the gear's fairly worthless and there's no rating based in-season rewards ie gear, titles etc. What I'm trying to say is this game has a ranked mode with none of the attributes that make a ranked mode enjoyable to play for an extended period of time, this is why people just farm to safe ratings and stay there for top 100 rewards. I played WoW even when I was in safe Gladiator range (by like 200 rating) because it was enjoyable; I probably wouldn't find that same incentive to do that here in equal standing because other people will be happy to tank my rating for me - and I can't even blame them because I should never get matched with them in the first place.

I mean there's talks about this being made into something eSport close but the basics aren't even there to entice people; it's not even close. Also anyone else remember when GW2 was supposed to go eSports, sponsors even took teams on based on that promise and well... it's surviving on the money ArenaNet throws at it, because no-one really cares and even orgs that used to take on MMORPG teams aren't interested in exposure to like 4000 people. Their best bet is to either revitalize premade queue or make solo q more attractive, revitalizing premades (as much as I'd rather solo queue) is simply the more attractive option. I mean we've got people playing at fanfest with so little practice it is literally luck on the day; because they can't practice together as the queues are nonexistent.

There's so much more I want to say but if I do this post will never end, it's been edited a lot already.

It’s not healers’ fault, it’s that healer’s fault. In these recent days, everytime i queue for the feast, i pray to god of pvp not to be paired with him. It’s like lottery. And we can’t even give him some advice like his gear... rip.

It sucks how the whole "competition" is just an extended lottery. If I see a healer name I don't recognize on my team I already know we lost. And that's sad. I feel the urge to just /sit and go die to make it all go faster sometimes..
