Add Moogle Attire Costume to Mog Station

Honestly? I'd consider paying the monthly subs from when the game launched to the point I started playing if it meant access to the exclusives. Guess I'd have to see what those were and if I cared for them. The Moogle Outfit doesn't really interest me, for example. Nor most of the minions for that matter. However, I -am- interested in seeing the game flourish and prosper. There are things I have that would probably be, 'Exclusive.' I do not care if other people have access to them. If they pay money for them, that's good for the game. If that means we see improvements like the drastic change that turned 1.0's flop into 2.0's success, I'm ALL for it.

Demanding those things remain exclusive so the game cannot be as successful, just for my personal hubris? That's just being selfish.

I'm okay with the legacy tattoo being exclusive, minions, mounts, even furnitures. But costumes and emotes? Why? I don't even care if they decide to charge $30 for it (even more than the fanfest). But not giving the option is really bad.

I am fine with the outfit being sold, but if they sell the Moogle Attire, then people will expect them to also sell the FFX items and other previous exclusive items like the 1.0 items. Lets not forget that some people got the Moogle attire, because SE told them that its acquired through fanfest/stream.

There is hope though, SE is known for caving in to demands if people complain enough . I would not be suprised if we see the Moogle Attire in the Mog Station in few years.

On one hand I want all these things because they are cute, but on the other hand, it is not fair to those who got it when it was ongoing. I mean, what would be the point of special rewards/items if everyone will get them at some point in the future? The whole special and rare thing goes out of the window.

The whole special and rare thing is that because you paid for the event and rewards at the time they were on going, you got to enjoy them for two plus years before the general public get them. Is it really wrong for them to provide a second method to acquire them years down the road after the event has ended? For example, would it really be wrong for them to eventually add 1.0 exclusives to the cash shop? I mean, you still have to pay for them. The difference is that those who were around in 1.0 got to enjoy them early and they were exclusive for 4-5+ years before others get them. 5 years is a really long time to enjoy something. I don't really understand the special snowflake mentality that things have to remain exclusive for all eternity.

That's a huge double standard around here though. There's always gonna be the argument that 1.x exclusives are much more special and should always remain exclusive while 2.x and onward, exclusives should be made available and anyone else who says differently just wants snowflake status and don't want to be fair to the newer players who missed out. I'd have to agree with others earlier in the thread that it should be all or none. I don't care anything about the status, but I certainly don't want to feel like I'm being discriminated against or others are being held above me, or see that happen to anyone else. The 7-11 thing is bad enough.

PvP mount are exclusive. But tbh as long as we don't have anything exclusive as raider I'm against things being exclusives.

Wow this thread is old. But I want to add in my 2 cents so, here it is.

I wish some "exclusives" were made available again even though the promotions have long passed, or expired (for example, I would really like for SE to start printing the Before Meteor and Realm Reborn OSTs with the codes for the Dalamud and Bahamut minions again; I would love that...I would gladly purchase those OSTs without codes because I absolutely love the music from this game, but they never seem to be in stock and I'm not paying $70 or whatever for an OST from an eBay seller >.>). However, that said, I do think there are some things that should retain their exclusivity. Mainly 1.0 items that only legacy players would have access to (legacy chocobo, Warrior of Light tattoo, to name the two major ones). Why? Well because these players paid for and supported a game that was the biggest flop for SE and the Final Fantasy series as a whole. They should at least get to retain these rewards as a thank you for supporting a game that was utter crap. I don't really think it's fair, and I do think it's "entitled", for those of us who have only played 2.0, or who came in during Heavensward, to start demanding we get exclusives given to players who supported a crappy game, where as we did not. Would be kind of a slap in the face to the 1.0 players.

I'm sure some people will think "You can't have half-and-half; it has to be all or nothing!" for exclusivity. But I think there's a difference between asking for SE to reprint promo minion codes (would prefer this to the Mogstation tbh), and asking SE to start handing out legacy rewards to people that have just started playing, or who never touched 1.0, and who wouldn't with a 10-foot-pole if it weren't for exclusives.

I think preorder bonuses/collector's edition bonuses should remain exclusive, too. As much as I want that Cait Sith Doll, I didn't preorder ARR, so why should I get access to the bonus content? Plus, it would probably hurt preorder sales to some extent, since there will always be those that purchase items for the DLC exclusives (see: plushie minions, OST minions, artbook minions, etc.). Why preorder for $59.99 USD when I could just buy the minion off the cash shop in a year or two? I can just pay $10 or whatever for the minion rather than $60 for a preordered collector's edition, and just pay for the basic game instead.. Of course, this is just speculation, but that's just my thoughts on it.

There are rare or limited time items in the real world why should it be any different in virtual game world? Calling people special snowflakes cause they have something you don't while demanding it be given to you doesn't make you any better then the people you think are being selfish by not wanting you to have what they have.

The outfit looks bad on all race except lalas (because they are small), Roe's look like pedo in it and the other races look off. Have a friend who has the outfit and i cringe every time he has it glamoured.
