    That's interesting. It just seems that way because in most of the videos I've watched with the strategy of having the mages stand away from plumes the cracks almost always appear under the lancers. It doesn't seem totally random at least.

    We've tested with all DDs and tank accomplicing mages, hoping to have them avoid cracks completely. Instead, they ate almost all the cracks (mages were all green hate, DDs and tanks were yellow/red). So this seems to suggest that it targets the lowest on the hate list, but even that isn't true. It's best to just be prepared for cracks, regardless of your enmity level.

    Cracks are kinda stupid. I start running as soon as I see one under me, then about two seconds after I step off it I get pwned by it. It's an interesting game mechanic but with that kind of lag it just takes the fun out the fight. They should increase the time allowed to get off it when the lag is that bad and reduce it when they fix the issue.
