Clearly you've never played FFVII before because that is where Gold Saucer came from along with it's music track (called Four-Sided Circle here in ARR but it was simply known as Gold Saucer in FFVII)... (I'm sorry if it seems I was attacking you, I'm not, I'm just making an observation).

And yes, it is repetitive... but then that's what older FF games were like, music themes were often short melodies that looped endlessly and became repetitive. But before you pass judgement, Soken originally wanted music tracks to avoid that in ARR, until players complained and said they wanted repetitiveness and looping tracks... so Soken obliged. It's just one of those things that will never be solved I'm afraid.

Personally I like the looping music, but you are fully entitled to your preferences too of course.

There's people that haven't played 7? I played it in Japanese when it first came out. I'm plenty familiar of the song's origin. It's just that, unlike other places, you're expected to listen to a 1:25 second song on loop for days to get all this crap.

i remember spendig WEEKS in there to get Aerith' fun weapon from the Rollercoaster Shooter until i finally got the highscore - and my ears were BLEEDING xD

i completely disagree: the soundtrack of FF7 is AWESOME and not very repetitive - except for this nasty Gold Saucer song >.>

however: as ear hurting that song is, it still is a good memory, FF7 Gold Saucer was fun ^^
