    It is, and its the reason they should have left 1.19 PL'ing as it was. There arent enough people joining RIGHT NOW to have takin it to the current extreme of 0 exp outside of the 10 level gap.

    I have no idea what you're trying to say here other than defending a game mechanic that encouraged you to go AFK while a buddy sacrificed his time to play the game for you. On my planet that's called bad design no matter how you slice it.

    Leveling 1-20 is definitely much slower than before and I think it's clearly too slow now. SE is aware of it and intends to make changes to alleviate the problem, however.

    There are other things that could have been done besides 0 exp beyond 10 ranks tho. That was a hasty fix to appease the complaints. Its what happens when multiple threads with over 500 replies each pop up about something.

    Leveling as a new person, thm with no sub-class was pretty difficult. At ten I went to conj and got cure and stoneskin then it was much easier. You really do need to get Cure or some type of heal.

    Some of the leves were too hard at one star ever for a healer with some decent nukes...and I could ae the mobs so the fights didn't last as long. A melee class would probably have it much harder.

    At 14-15 go to Shopshae, I didn't see many people dong shouts in town for this. But stop doing leves and go there, it is a newish dungeon outside of Limsa. It is the first great exp camp, and you can totally solo the lvl 15 bats in there too. I did that and just duo'd or joined with a group in there. Lots of NM's and treasure chests too.

    Leves are ok if you have nothing else to do, but you will get like a level an hour in there. That is the fastest way to do it.

    I'm sure upgrading gear would help but it is just too hard to do in this game at low levels. I had mostly level 1 gear up to level 20. A new player cannot craft or buy gear upgrades, and that needs to change.

    tried to level my lvl 10 lancer --- camp drybone --- so hard to finish leves.

    Thank you for all of your feedback. Many issues have been brought up, but I would like to discuss the issue of the difficulty of leveling up from a low level while soloing.

    It is certainly easier to level up with a party and we understand the frustrations of players who have difficulty finding a party and players who enjoy soloing.

    In patch 1.19a we adjusted the strength of lower level monsters, and we would like to add to this by making adjustments to how players with lower levels level up. We haven't decided the specifics of this adjustments, but we are currently looking in to lowering the experience points needed to level up, increasing EXP gained, increasing Guildleve EXP, or addressing other elements while keeping an eye on various balance issues. We will let you know when we make a decision.

    Since your stance on this isn't firm enough, good luck with the balancing! (It won't happen)

    My suggestion? Point these people to the camps you prepared in 1.19. If that's not enough, I'm not sure what exactly is.

    My suggestion would be "uns#!tting" battlecraft leves and behest. It was a perfectly functional system for solo players but the dev team wasn't satisfied..."Something working properly and ppl having fun with it? Nowai!! Let's screw it!"

    IMO it's about time for dev team to start cleaning all the mess they did in these last patches and have the content working before adding more stuff. Battlecraft and company leves are sucking, behest is sucking, caravan escort is sucking, guild task is sucking, leve evaluation system is sucking...even raids and ifrit battle are sucking.

    Having a variety of content isn't enough...we need them working properly.

    Partying should be faster then soloing lowering the exp needed would just make partying even faster. I thought yoshi-p idea was for someone to take 2-3month to level? but with PL and how fast you gain exp now with link system i can get that within 2-3days of 8+ hour of partying without powerlevel.

    I understand for a casual it would take longer but not as long as you think. Should make it so Solo gain little more exp while killing mob by themselfs and only by themselfs not someone attacking outside the party. Also while soloing leves you gain more EXP enough to make it good for casual players.

    To be honest, I think this problem will automatically be solved when the player search feature hits. Parties are ridiculously fast for leveling and currently the problem is simply the fact that you can't find a party at such a low level.
