    Nothing stopping folks from leveling crafting / gathering jobs and I HATE crafting. I spent a good 5 months maxing all my crafting jobs to 60, as well as mining to 60. It's really simple with Ixal and Moogle dailies. Currently fishing and botany are 50+. As for making Gil, crafting has been the ONLY gil drain for me. I don't see how people make gil off of crafting. I will have to say that it is nice to be able to make my own weapons/armor/crafting gear though.

    EDIT: The only time I really craft now, is about 30 minutes every Thursday for Zhloe turn-ins.
