As for this rune fencer.... No.... The only similarity between what I said and that is the word rune and Thier not even here in the same context. Again think Fullmetal alchemist. Similar to that in the tattoo use and weaponless again weaponless casting.

Still seems more of the offense not tank to me. Also once you post on the right h and side check the pencil that says edit so you can stop making so many entries and just add if you need to. You use up your response limits for the day faster otherwise.

I think the biggest flaw in this idea is expecting SE to try to do something in XIV that is completely original and/or something that has never been done before.

LOL SE can't even balance 3 tank jobs, and you want them to add another one because you find the ones they do have are boring?

They need to fix what's broken first.

I'd love to see a new generation of tank cls as well... and a magic based job could be interesting I think... for me I like the idea of trying out new things... and balancing jobs first?... every job which they balanced raised from the very bottom to the very top... (Brd Burst, SMN Aoe, Ast Noc Stance... etc) so no they shouldn't try to balance things in this way... there will always be better ones and worse ones you can't balance 10+ jobs equally... u just can't (except you clone toolkits what shouldn't be the answer to solve the "balance issue"). So yeah something truly new could shuffle the status quo imo.
