You can have skirts for male characters when we females actually get some nice skirts that aren't job specific, and don't have god awful weird half pant additions (looking at you freaking star velvet skirts).

You've got more options than we do. That's the issue. You don't like your skirts?

I've got one skirt total in my pants slot that isn't job-specific, and that's the plain long skirt. I had to craft one up so I could wear it with my lord's yukata for an outfit in preparation of stormblood, since there's not any "long yukata" style piece of gear. Just the one skirt.

I really like that hair style on Lukh'a. It works so well with his hair colour.

It's not really suitable for this thread (there's a separate glamour requests topic somewhere) but a full length pleated skirt like the Asuran/Yasha hakama would be a good piece to make non-job-specific for those seeking a Doman look as a melee role. Naturally, like the originals it shouldn't be genderlocked. There are also a ton of mid-length dungeon drop skirts which cannot be dyed and are therefore not so useful as glamour pieces.

Since skirts seem to bring out a lot of craziness, I took a non-skirt picture of a set with an openly feminine aesthetic which I'll upload when I'm back home. There's so much glamour to pull from in this game, making the bizarre omission of certain options all the more glaring.

There's a few hakama you can wear. I forget the name right now but you can buy them cheap from the centurio vendors in the forgotten knight and they're dyable with an upgrade. I use the old casting hakama a lot for glamour since it's the closest thing we have a to a long pleated skirt.

We don't want to oppress Square-Enix!

We want to demonstrate that:

- Some people like dressing their characters up in glamours that very conservative people don't like. The world doesn't end when we do.
- Male character models have very nice legs too.
- When we ask for equal glamour treatment and get told that it's impossible because S-E don't like putting boys in skirts, it's nonsense.
- We aren't going to forget about this request and go away just because it hasn't yet been addressed.
- It's honestly liberating to respond to jibes by putting a flower in your hair and dancing instead of getting upset.

My preferred reaction would be that the S-E reps get a smile out of this thread, not a frown. That's why I try to pose my lanky Elezen to look confident in his clothes
