Silver chest farming in PotD, harassed by speedrunners. (More ingored PvE harassment)

It started to be SE's fault when they removed PvP chat. Now I need to ask why nothing is being done for PvE harassment, since it happens more often and more extreme actions happen like MPK.

By using this example you're making it pretty unclear what you want to talk about - do you want actions taken about the PvE issues or just our PvP chat back? Get over that and discuss the actual topic (I'm not happy about the chat removal either but I've seen a lot more toxic behaviour in PvP than in PvE - and a lot worse than just afking and telling someone to suck it up)

To the issue you actually made the topic about... I havent really experienced that - me and a friend have done a bit of PotD recently, both near the 99/99 cap, to level his last jobs. While not all runs were a pleasent experience, I dont ever thought it would be necessary that Se takes action.

I dont get you - you're unhappy about them babysitting us in PvP, so now you want to extend that to the whole game? Yeah, I dont think so - as in: I dont think thats needed. How about we deal with minor problems like this on our own, mmh? There are multiple reasons to run PotD - silver chests, exp, shards to buy stuff, sacks... - all are valid and its up to the individual party to decided whats most important for the majority of them. Three people dont have to go out of their way for a single person - and if a single person chooses to be a jerk, they can always be removed. Problem solved.
Dont make this a bigger issues than it has to be - and dont bring other topics that might bother you but are completly unrelated into this if you want a serious discussion.

People should not assume "speed running" is the norm, farming for chests is, some people do not know that speed running was a thing (like my friend did upon returning) and was harassed every other run that day she did return by speed runners. Speed runners are the ones that need to ask, not chest farmers.

I strongly disagree with this - where does it say that the main objective of potd is/has to be silver chests when there are several other reasons to do that content? If someones there for exp, they most likely wont care about chests and one can easly argue that leveling up a class is more important than getting some outdated weapons and that therefor speed runs should be the norm (-> faster runs=more runs=more exp=more levels)
Just because silver chests are more important to you, doesnt mean they have to be for everyone - or that everyone has to go out of their way to get silver chests for you...
