Thank you so much! Now can we please do something about NA Customer support? They are the worst people to ever deal with over the phone. Worst experience i hve ever had with customer support. Very rude and hateful.

I get around 140-180 in every other game I play that has a west coast server, and 220-260 on east coast servers, but 380-400+ in this game. So it should help dramatically. It might be a contractual obligation that they don't directly disclose it.
That said, I wonder if this will hurt or help people play on NA severs in Australia or New Zealand? I guess there's no way to know for sure until it happens but Oceania players tend to get the short end of the stick fairly often already.
So excited to see the data center moved and upgraded! Thank you Yoshi-P and Co. for looking out for your NA players!
I only asked to consider it. I don't think you read the original post nor mine thoroughly enough. :^) Of course it could go either way as to what their decision is so I don't think it hurts to ask. Why complain about 3.0 and 4.0 launches when we all know we aren't even going to be using those data centers anymore? I don't see a valid reason to neglect the idea.I don't think you thought this suggestion through thoroughly. Unless it's an incredibly significant upgrade I don't think this would do well for any players in either data center with their populations. Balmung+Gilgamesh regularly brought down the Aether data center during HW launch.
Anyone in the UK that can work out pings in worts case escenario please. I want to understand how it might hit me. I been in ultros for over 3 years and i don't wanna transfer anywhere else.
Fellow European here! You likely play with 120~ ping right now, worst case scenario it will hit 200~ and you may have to run from AoEs in advance.
Best case scenario it will hit 160 for you (currently 160~ for me) , it's perfectly playable and enjoyable all the way through endgame content.
I've been on Malboro for 2 years and really don't want to move either.![]()
Australian Server(s) when?
I am from germany and i just ran a test for servers located in LA... The average ping was 210+ while the ping right now to Goblin is ~101. A move to the west coast would double up my ping and would be a reason to quit the game. I hope they'll offer some kind of transfers to the EU data center when this happens. I don't wanna lose my house AND all my money to play with normal reactions.Fellow European here! Yeah, if you're in Europe and they move the data center to the west coast (which seems unfortunately likely), then you're looking at borderline playable at best, complete garbage at worse. Basically East Coast US becomes the new Europe players, Europe players start playing from the moon.
Which is why moving it to the west coast would be such a hilariously awful idea that I can't imagine why they'd do it, but it's also the only real reason they'd have to give us zero information about the location they're moving it to. Can't hurt those Stormblood sales!![]()
