If people can't be free to say what they think there is no need for a Forum, as a forum is a place for discussion. That someone doesn't think or feel the same as you doesn't make it less off a discussion.

Which of these do you take issue with?

"They are hyur's (or insert whatever race lul) with fake cloth-textured rabbit ears from the gold saucer."
There have been other threads that have discussed this very topic and it just goes in circles. It's a tired argument.

"We need to expand customization."
This has already been discussed. We could have both viera and more customization. Maybe not at the same time, but eventually, we could have both.

"I want another race."
Then maybe you should post in another existing thread or make your own. Although I'm pretty sure you can find a thread that's already made. I have told people in the past to go make their own thread if they really wanted another race. This is a thread for the implementation of viera, not other races.
