Viera as the next new race~ Show your support

While i myself have no issue with cute effeminate male Viera, i draw the line at children. A child like race should not be introduced for many, many reasons, better to have both genders of any proposed race be fully adult and depicted as such.

The art depiction child like Viera should be left for the child portrayal of the race in game not as a playable option. This is just my thoughts on this, however i feel it would be more hassle than its worth.

Sorry, I fail to see what this have to do with how I felt "bummed out" over the official Au Ra and their early concept arts. =/

Are you on Balmung? Also I'd like to kindly add, I can say my character is a agressive serial killer that would gut any Eorzean within 4 meters just for fun, and would get off on the smell fresh entrails, especially if its a pregnant woman. Distrubing ain't it?

In other words: Don't make RP an excuse. Its a very poor argument. No one will deny people would RP that crap, but no ones batting an eye when someone has lala slaves and one just happens to be an underage daughter (as said by a troll in Iddylshire playing the roll of an Eorzean trafficker)

As an NPC it is fine, as a playable race? Yes it is. You do realize that Lalafell proportions were made specifically so that they cannot be considered children biologically? Their head size in relation to body proportions denote them not being of the human race and not subject to child protection laws concerning children if all forms of media.

I would say that none of that is ok, is absolutely disgusting and should be reported immediately. People like to bring up the idea of since it's already happening it's ok to add ways to facilitate and encourage depraved/ disgusting acts by introducing even more options to fetishize. That mind set is not only sad (in that one gives into abohrant behavior in doing so rewards it) but incredibly short sided (allowing the spread of said behavior to flourish).

Request have been made to adopt children, play as them, take them on adventures. However it's posed the fact remains, adding any child like race poses issues to the company for how the child is depicted in those situations (attack, dismemberment, death, capture, torture, ect...). to say nothing of the review by ESRB standards in general rating of content. A change that can in fact cause it's ability to sold and offered in certain regions to put into jeopardy.

Those are clearly meant to be children, they should NOT be options for character creation.

I think the viera in this concept art should be considered. I like how they look. I don't really care what weirdos decide to rp, as long as I don't see it.

Your looking at the same concept art right? They don't look human. Look at the side picture, they're faces resemble that of a rabbits but body proportions of a slight larger lalafell with longer legs. I think you just have a strange way of looking at these character that make them all look like children, in which case your being rather hypocritical right now. Lala's do indeed look like children, but they're simply not. These may look like children, but they're also not. Your making it seem worse than it is. :/

And yes, I'm in full support of Viera as the next race. Not many other candidates are spoken of more than this to begin with.

Ah, well if thats the case then I guess I don't have much to say to that. That concept art was for the actual race, they just look that way, like Lala's. Maybe they have a more famous idea in mind; I just have no issues with this concept art or any of the others at this point.

Viera is a race of Ivalice, form Final Fantasy Tactics universe. It is better not mix different universes. And, before someone reply, the Ivalice form Stormblood is not the same Ivalice than Tactics. It is is own version.

Therefore, it can be the Viera of this universe? Its like saying we can't have Mi'qote because they were in FFXI's universe. :/
