Split SCH and SMN already! The poblems are just going to keep increasing!!!

I am tried of having leeches at 40! I need it available at 15+ because of level sync.
I do not like the idea of needing to change my stat bonus points around.
I do not like how both jobs are books just because of an out dated system

The class > job thing really needed reworking in 2.0 because classes do not fit the game, gameplay wise. It is also a nightmare in deep, making it harder for new players to perform well in there because of the job gating.

How come classes perform so poorly at 50? 60? Why are they in the game? This abandon and forget is just going to lead to more gameplay problems in the future.

What is going to happen when the cap becomes 70? 80? with the classes going to deep and how SMN and SCH share too much. I want unique weapons, SCH and SMN should be different, keep the books for ACN.

I really would love the split, because I love playing Summoner but I also really enjoy Scholar healing but having to constantly swap the bonus points around is just plain nonsensical to me.

I could easily imagine a Scholar's weapon being changed to like a conductors baton or something like that, using it to well conduct the fairy as it were. Though I am drawing the inspiration for this from a character from the jrpg Eternal Sonata xD

and yeah leeches being locked behind level 40 'can' (key word, can not will) make certain lower dungeons a 'nightmare'. *cough* Toto-rak! *cough*

Since people hate the choice of words being used by me or the OP, cause life is apparently too literal, I'm not saying its a nightmare for everyone and the colourful word use is just for effect (least my use of it), come on guys, jeez. Everyone has their own experience when it comes to healing in this game and for some players, lacking leeches is a detriment to them or having to constantly shuffle bonus points even if it is a negligible loss/gain. Its frankly something that shouldn't really be left that way forever, it might be fine for some but when you look at it compared to all the other jobs, SCH/SMN is the only one in this situation.

And there are a myriad of other problems that the two jobs currently face with their clashing identity crisis which is why Summoner and Scholar need their amicable divorce.

And yes even though its not pertinent to this topic, White Mages does need some serious love from the devs.

same with give pld shield oath at 30 instead of 40 >_> if they don't do anything with the 4.0 changes most likely never gunna happen which is silly since if i wanna play smn i am inherently 35 int weaker than my blm due to this split.

Plus i prefer sch keeps the book as makes thematically more sense but give summoner a whip or something

If they split the class, it could be the equivalent of a third job in Stormblood so I would not be surprised if they did in the expansion.

I know it hurts your healing pride to not be able to leeches before 40, but we have eos. There isn't a DoT that can contend with whispering Dawn. You could argue paralysis, but who the hell is stepping in stupid? Fey caress is also available.

Yoshi already said they are probably removing the bonus stat points because new people don't even distribute them. Leeches, esuna and exalted detriment are all likely going to become one spell shared with all the healers.

A friend of mine and I did the math awhile back. Being full int in scholar only shaves off roughly 50ish HP per heal from you and it doesn't affect eos/selene at all since they scale with gear and not mind, so constantly switching back and forth is really just and OCD thing more than necessity. We also tested it ourselves. It was back in 2.x so the drop off may be closer to 75ish but that's still negligible.

You'd be surprised at the people who do complain about not being cured cause you physically can't until a set level.

Still Leeches would be nice at the same point Exalted and Esuna is gained :c

Although Fay Caress is available at level 20, its just with it being a on 60 sec CD its a bit more ehh... so its not that reliable early on.

You don't have Leeches because you have Eos. You don't need Leeches at that level.
