Harassing Healers - or: Please allow Parsers

Im all for parsers, but if they implement it, I doubt its gonna be enough to only show your own dps.
That way, they only see plain meaningless numbers without having any comparison. If my parser shows im doing 800 dps in an Expert run and I have no comparison to what everyone else is doing,
I may just think that this dps is a good average. Theres no real incentive to question it. I bet many wont.


I do have to ask though, are there really that many awful dpsers who explicitely demand the healer to dps?
I always dps as a healer,so I dont know, never happened to me. But I know that, if I join a roulette with a dps class im still practising with, I'd be embarassed to ask a non-dpsing healer to start dpsing.
Cant ask someone to perform harder when my own performance is lacking.

If I could call out the bad DPS without getting banned, I would. As it is now, I have to sit and take it when my Shield Oath PLD is top DPS. It's BS.

I do callout bad dps. Calling them out does not prove that Im using a parser in any way. If dps is super low despite me going all out on healer AoE DPS mode, I can safely assume that at LEAST one dps is doing poorly,probably both though.
If one dps happens to be my friend,whom I know is always doing well and it still seems like stuff is dying slowly, theres literally no one else to blame but the other dps (assuming we are in a 4 man dungeon).
As far as im aware, only specifically mentioning the use of a parser is bannable. Anything else can be easily guessed by other circumstances. (again,talking about 4 man dungeons).

Simple: Read the other "healer dps" Threads and search the names of the "requesters" on a well known statistics site.

Some time ago I did exactly this, which is the reason for my point of view.
