I think I can get behind that. I was disappointed that the Au Ra didn't get the vicious/more feral look from their concept art. Might be why now I'm trying to figure out if I like Hyur Highlanders or Roes more.

Something tells me that those two are the only things we're gonna get for non cutesy/petite races. That and male Au Ra. By far the most popular types of races are...well, the most popular combinations are fem miqote and au ra, take that as you will. While the least popular are...well...

Oh i'm sure us Highlanders are going to get a lot more popular for the first few months of Stormblood, It's just a shame that there's only really 2.5 races that aren't tiny little girls.

Main reason why this will never happen is because what you ask for is Viera from FFXII and what you will get instead is a human body with rabbit ears and a rabbit tail.

You wont get the Viera from FFXII because that would be extra work for dev team when it comes to making the gear. They would always have to make gear specifically for Viera i.e changing the feat and the hands.

I'll probably go back to femroe at the start of Stormblood,as I was one for the longest time. I just love the sharp look on their faces and overall how badass they look.

So then why not just make a third clan of Hyur who have the exact same features a Viera have in XII, sans the rabbit bits. That way it potentially appeals to more people (particularly those who do not want permanent animal accessories).

I'd prefer it to be its own race with different facial features and unique lore. I also mentioned how I would like this viera race to have one short clan and one tall clan (like midlanders and highlanders). Although I wouldn't really complain if the viera females were taller than male vieras, like how au ra females are shorter than their male counterparts.
