Actually, I don't believe the EX versions are in trials roulette, just the 'hard' ones.Oh geez back again soo soon :d
Ok, queue for trial roulette, get mog ex. Everything is going fine until a healer dies to idk. I swift rez them. They die again within 30 secs. I was like ok, whatever then... go back to attacking and dodging dmg somehow before my swiftcast cd is up the other healer and everyone else decided to get caught in huge blue aoe. I'm running out of it and one of dead tanks is like please help rez ppl. Maybe I'm being too logically for him because I'm not doing a hard rez while standing in an avoidable aoe. We get it done the second time and the tank dubs me as trash before i leave. Really can't please ppl unless you stand in aoes while doing some hard rezzing.
-Rubs temples-
Queue up for Diadem and EM spawns immediately, so someone tells the party to go there ASAP. Coordinates linked and everything. People don't listen and get locked out.
Someone says something about people being elitists and I roll my eyes and focus on the EM.
We all go back to our main mission after, and people start to afk, but most of the party is there. I queued as SCH, me and the other heals buff everyone, and stand there next to our first mobs. All the buffs tick away, everyone continues to sit in silence, buffs tick away again.
Ok, whatever, these mobs are squishy, I switch to PLD, pull one and suddenly everyone is there again, and spring up to attack, we kill the squishy mobs and move on to doing fates for evaluation.
Someone starts to call out fates and lead.
Someone complains, a dps DRG "Isn't the tank supposed to lead?"
I agree with one comment and say "It doesn't matter who leads." I mean in my experience in the Diadem there's been no official leader, Tank, heals, dps, who ever steps up to lead does it and we get the mission done.
They reply "If you want to lead, why don't you tank?" I ignore it. XD I mean... I was already PLD at that point, didn't want to lead, just wanted to get the mission done. The tank still hadn't said a thing.
Someone else starts linking fates, most of the party follows and starts to get the fates done. Mind you this is like Thirty mins in at this point. Still working on the mission.
The tank leaves, having never said a word, and someone says. "Our healer bailed." I correct them, it was the WAR that left, I had changed to PLD and the other healer was now a DRG.
One of the DPS chimes in. "he bailed bc someone else swapped."
-shrugs- I don't feel bad, no one else was taking an initiative. I did. So I say as much. They were not doing their job, so I did.
"This content is less than 1 week old. You can swap jobs, but that doesnt mean you should. Maybe give some advice to a new person."
... A new person that never spoke a word or asked for advice and ignored when we linked the EM position at the start? -rubs temples- You want me to hold your hand?
They bailed with two others because apparently they were friends with the tank, leaving a group of four to finish the mission. Felicia bye! I'm not a mind reader and I'm not going to communicate with someone that is making no effort to communicate themselves.
:P We finished the mission easily after that, and I stuck around to do fates with other groups after.
I have no problem with taking things slow, I will do extra stuff for lowbie groups their first time through, I will pull one group at a time, I will give advice to people if they ask for it, or if they look like they don't know what they are doing.
I'm not your mom and I'm not gonna baby you. You want someone to help you, or play your way you have to let them know that you need help, otherwise I will play to make up for whatever it is you lack in whatever what I feel is needed to better the team. Diadem is not something in my Mentor roulette in which I know to look out for people that need help.

Had the opportunity to observe someone attempting to harass and shame an instance of Trials of the Matron today because the Emergency Mission came in and gatherers wanted to keep on gathering - especially when most of us were on parties with only 2 - 4 players left at that point. Stop, just stop. If people want to gather on the gatherer's entrance: LET THEM GATHER.
Wanted to give a shoutout to an awesome mentor I ran with today.
Did Gubal Library normal. Healer said she was new to the dungeon.
Right off the bat, the mentor tank was very welcoming and let the healer know to ask if she had any questions.
Since the healer wasn't super geared, the tank only pulled one pack at a time. So the run ended up going rather slowly. I didn't mind since the healer was new.
The rest of the run consisted of lighthearted conversation between the tank and the healer. The healer kept apologizing to me and the bard for slowing down the run. But she was doing great. She made a few first timer mistakes but that's OK.
When we got to the last boss, the tank took a good 10 minutes to explain every mechanic in detail to the healer to make sure she knew what to expect. We ended up wiping on the first try but got it on the next try.
So to this awesome mentor, if you're reading this, I wanted to thank you for going out of your way to help the healer like you did. And to the healer, if you're reading this, you did great!

Im confused.
Weekly Mhach run
Went as Ninja.
No bonus.
DPS DPS DPS until I end up tanking Arachne Eve.
Boss down, next boss.
DPS DPS DPS until I end up tanking Forgall.
Boss down, time for the mini boss.
Surprisingly, I don't end up tanking (maybe because I was in Alliance A).
Ozma.
Without me realizing it, the other two Alliances are dead. We get swarmed by adds and meteors wipe us.
Next try. Everything goes smoothly.
Final boss.
One minute in and half of the raid is already dead. Dodging AOEs is really difficult, yoshida-sama, please nerf.
2/3 of those that are dead spend the rest of the fight watching us from outside the arena. GG.
We somehow finish the raid.
Seems like a normal Duty Finder run.

I got Baelsar's Wall for my morning expert, dungeon goes okay up til the final boss, MCH is rather undergeared sitting at approximately 17k HP, so they die a few times to his half-room cleave that pushes back, they say "Lag" in party chat. Then during the Lionshead phase with the swords, I always kill the sword I'm closest to as I'm a BLM/BRD, so I'd rather cast than move. PLD and MCH attack the middle one and can't even kill it before I kill mine and am already attacking the boss, they say nothing after the first sword phase. Second sword phase, I do the same thing: kill the one closest to me, while the middle one is still at 90%. PLD tells me "Kill the middle one always". We beat it, with the MCH dead because they can't avoid attacks. I tell the PLD that I'm a BLM and my priority is casting, if I can do that and avoid damage by killing the sword closest to me, it makes sense I'd do that.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
