Friday. Dun Scaith. Best summary of the group I can make is that Proto Ultima dropped to 40% before phase change. Pretty much everything was curb stomped. Sure there were a few hairy moments for D. Hollow at the end, but that does not take much to happen, it was still a one shot, and it was an awesome run.
Today, I was critting in Dun Scaith for 18k-19k. That was fun! Tanking, on the other hand, wasn't so fun. Especially not when I kept getting told to just pop Manaward/wall like they're some sort of Holy Grail that will magically protect me from death when the boss is smacking me around for 10k a hit.
Remember, kids: Too many Dun Scaiths a day drains your sanity away!
During one Diabolos Hollow fight in particular, I started taking bets on my death. Somehow, that fight ended with everyone in the party except me, on the floor. So apparently I can't even predict my own death accurately. Fun times.
Achievement Unlocked: LOLGOON
I pull aggro from tanks in low level dungeons frequently. I don't see it as a problem and expect it when the tank is barely at the gear level to run the dungeon. I've also never had any complaints from the tanks. All I do is cut back a bit on DPS and run the mob back to the tank. Sounds like your tank must of had feelings of inadequacy and was over compensating.
Being verbally abused by someone in PotD because I was interested in getting the silver chests and he only wanted to run through at breakneck speed... despite having 99 in both arms and armour. And THEN having my mentor status called into question when I reminded him that I just wanted to run it properly O.o
PvP duty but still duty finder. Did several runs in Shatter. One had me in a group with 4 WHM and another two healers. Our overall Alliance still did OK.
In fact most of the runs were decent with a few 1st place finishes.
But the last run of the night, my Alliance didn't seem to know or care that you win by capturing frozen tomeliths. I mean, alright, but the other Alliances seemed to know/care and actually had pointsIt's very random what you get in those duties.
Oh geez back again soo soon :d
Ok, queue for trial roulette, get mog hm. Everything is going fine until a healer dies to idk. I swift rez them. They die again within 30 secs. I was like ok, whatever then... go back to attacking and dodging dmg somehow before my swiftcast cd is up the other healer and everyone else decided to get caught in huge blue aoe. I'm running out of it and one of dead tanks is like please help rez ppl. Maybe I'm being too logically for him because I'm not doing a hard rez while standing in an avoidable aoe. We get it done the second time and the tank dubs me as trash before i leave. Really can't please ppl unless you stand in aoes while doing some hard rezzing.

Not my story, but my FC mate who just returned two weeks ago.
My friend decided to do a leveling roulette on her WHM and got the Aery. Everything went fine until the last boss. She had forgotten to get in the bubble and died. Luckily they had a SMN to raise her and they cleared the fight, no other problems. Before he left, the tank went on about how he was comming the SMN because "the WHM was absolutely terrible." Ok, so...the level 55 healer with the returner sprout who hasn't healed the dungeon (and stated it was her first time healing the dungeon and that she hadn't done Aery in over a year) isn't quite perfect so they suck and should uninstall. All right then.
No, they were not a mentor btw (at least not PvE). They had no healers at 60.
