While I agree that Feast needs real chat even with the toxicity, how much of that criticism is actually delivered in a helpful way, or is just thinly veiled bullying?

There are dozens of replies in this thread alone. Also, the OP of this thread is also well delivered.
How constructive is it to undermine a serious issue by pussy footing about the topic? Being blunt is not the same as being rude, which is a common misconception.
https://mogtalk.org/2017/03/12/mogta...ns-to-yoshida/Q: At the moment, every PvPer I have spoken to has claimed the disable of chat in the feast as the major factor to why they don’t want to participate in it anymore. While it’s understood that this is meant to reduce toxicity, but harms the competitive strategies players may develop, as well as means to teach other players. Are there any plans to revert this change?
Yoshida:
I’m planning to make a forum post addressing this by the release of Stormblood, so if you could kindly stand by for more information!
So pretty much after season 4 we might get the chat back?
Player
No i don't think so.. and by release of stormblood i expect yoshi forum post statement would be similar to this " Please Look Forward to it! " which means " keep on dreaming " or maybe they give chat by the end of 2018 or even start of 2019, or maybe they change the whole mode compeletly for stormblood . cuz if they are planning to bring chat back... they will just do it, like when they just removed it..... like when they just responded to minion collectors in less than a day and made top 10 rewards available in achievement
Exactly this.
Long-time PvP'ers should all be old hats when it comes to translating Yoshi-P'sbullshitjargon. We had to deal with the same thing over the GC restrictions. Every time they were pushed on the topic, they gave us the same corporate cut-out speech, almost down to the exact same wording. To their credit, they did, eventually, make the change, but it took them two whole years, and the decision (supposedly) had nothing to do with our complaints. I think that makes it pretty apparent that they don't care what the players actually want. They'll just do whatever they feel like doing whenever they feel like doing it. Honestly, with their track record I wouldn't be surprised if they were using a crazy-eight ball to make corporate policies.
Bumping to remind SE to give us chat back.
The tiniest lala.
80+ pages of comments with little response from SE, what we need is help from the pve community to get involve and complain as well.
SE doesnt seem to care at all of us PvPers. Ballista (ff11) had way more support.

First Rep Response: 01-26-2017, Page 40: Developers making “adjustments”, request for more feedback
Latest Rep Response: 03-14-2017, Page 2 of an entirely different thread, http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...added-in-feast: Previously mentioned adjustment only now planning to be added, no acknowledgement of actual player’s concerns and feedback, further mention of “adjustments” despite clear and frequent negative feedback.
I can't be the only one seeing how wildly different these matters have been handled, can I?
