Keep in mind just because your group just entered Diadem doesn't mean there weren't other groups already farming.

As far as I asked no one even completed their first mission yet so I would have to guess that it was a fresh instance unless they fate farmed without doing missions.

edit: Found the Baby brachio Fate and read the description saying that they come during the morning with the mist and in fact it was before 8:00 a.m. on eorzea and the weather was misty/cloudy, maybe it's worth investigating this
edit: run after saw the baby brachio FATE at 9.00 a.m. but was clear, however if was fog before so dunno maybe related

I did some matron diadem yesterday and every 15 min was an S fate pop. When I do fury I usually see 1 within the entire 60 minutes, barely 2.

So if people would actually do sth on the maps (as they do in matron, since they fish, gather, etc), instead if afking the entire ime (hi fury), it would be way more rewarding

but thats just my experience

Tbh I too saw S Fates appear in 15-20 mins in the zone in the DOW/DOM area, it was when ppl were doing Fates or anything too yes so it might idd be correlated.
