Likely not weather-related because the JP pictures show the FATE spawning during gales in the morning.

About the untargetable Pegasus mine run through a cave same as Culfinrandir said but stopped at the end then a buried coffer appeared. Dunno if it can be of any help but wanted to share that.

A I290 quest weapon in the new expansion is going to be better anyways, There is absolutely no need to bash each other over a weapon that will be outdated like all the rest before it.

Even if you do get your weapon who cares? it will be good to use for a few months then it's useless, this happens every, single, patch cycle, get over it.

There is bigger problems on the planet than complaining about a weapon in a video game that will soon be outdated by stormblood.

Half my team was too confused to enter the cave (don't ask) so we never made it completely to the end but the Pegasus was definitely leading the way. It actually entered the cave through the barrier, rather than just fading out.

Seems that the Boss Rafflesia from the ultima FATE in Azys LLa can spawn randomly in the underground, both times I saw them was nighttime but we didn't kill it since we were going fro S ranks and they despawned
