I can report the complete opposite. There ARE some anecdotal observations on Reddit where people noted Emergency Missions were popping like crazy during the first morning of the patch when everyone was rushing FATEs, but disappeared as more groups began to AFK after objectives, waiting for boss FATEs or the emergency mission itself...
Right after maintenance i barely got any emergencies. I was like 2/11.
Since i started AFKing the frequency of emergencies went up to like 40-50%.
Not even kidding.
From my experience of just farming around the Brachiosaurus FATE location we failed the Slaughter the Lost Legends only to have an Excitedly Boys to pop just south of it.
As we tried to finish that one, a non fate baby brachi off near the cave entrance started booking it into the cave non aggro. We failed the other brachi fate in disguise of Excitedly Boys but not mere seconds later the boss fate popped and out comes the big Brachio from the cave entrance.
If I had to guess I'd say leaving the non fate babys up and trying to destroy the fated ones may in fact cause one of them to "level up" into the meteor casting monstrosity we all wish to destroy.
That one baby was moving at a pretty decent speed too, I thought someone had aggro but it wasn't engaged and that cave opening is an exit only. I'll keep hanging out over there to see if i can duplicate the scenario.
It's entirely random, otherwise you would see at least 3 bosses per duty, I've had runs with only 1 boss.
Keep in mind just because your group just entered Diadem doesn't mean there weren't other groups already farming.
I see must have been lucky then oh well
I haven't had the time to do the gathering side of Diadem. Can someone tell me if is the same as before? Do you still need to run away from adds? Or what's the difference?
Cheers!
Also unspoiled nodes can spawn inside diadem now too and they are already discovered no need to waste attempt to reach the items

Haven't seen this FATE yet ^
Haven't seen either of those. I'll have to keep an eye out for the unicorn fate next time I go to test if it's the trigger.
