He also said anima is the best weapon but the 280 weapons have better damage and can have 5 stats. Who do we believe?
Then Yoshi pretty much lied. The main problem I have with this is that it disrespected my time as a player. Grinding the anima might have been very long but it still took effort. Some of the tasks were very daunting and yoshi was willing to throw it all out after 9 days. Again, I don't care about i280 weapons... I really don't. It just comes as a huge shock to me that SE disrespected my time after that victory step I had a true godly weapon in my hand. A week later and it not godly as this 280 lottery weapon. That to me is true disrespect by Square Enix. Yoshi tells us to calm down when we endured a stupid huge questline grinding endlesss amount of tomes because he doesn't care about us. He put the anima as a shiny carrot on a stick so we can have something to do much like with the diadem he has done the same thing and called it "new content" when it is not very new. Diadem with fates....
Summed it up perfectly. Right now my anima is very good, and good enough for existing content. Problem is, the Script weapon is very good, good enough for existing content, and 1000x easier to obtain. The only reason I made an anima was to have a godly, BiS weapon from completion until Stormblood. Instead, I had it for nine days. All that time spent grinding was outright wasted. And Yoshi-P sees no problem with this. I unsubbed. I know I'm not the only one.
If it makes you feel any better I'm sure the relic will be discarded to bypass an easy step in a new relic grind which will lead you to putting that into the grinder as well. It gets to the point where I think only your ilvl is the only thing that matters. -_-
