I280 weapons were a mistake

Let me just quote myself...again...

"What I care about is that they decided to make the anima I worked on no longer BiS because the new Diadem is so awful they have to lure people in with an uber-god weapon."

And relic was BiS from the time it was finished until Heavensward. The anima would have followed suit until they realized the Diadem was terrible and needed a big enough carrot to draw people to the cesspool.

So if you based it off of your thought on it needing to be BiS, then you can't blame SE on it.

Also, you were meant to get these 280 weapons on the exact same day as the 275 step. So if there weren't issues getting Diadem in, the relic would have never been BiS to begin with for you.
