If only they new how much money Blizzard make from these kind of things, I wouldn't be surprised to see it come as a paid service later down the road.

They know how much money Blizzard makes off of it but SE aren't money grubbing whores like Blizzard lol They respect the personal connection between the player and character, just the same as they did in XI. Oh yeah, lets cancel all of his previous accomplishments only because he completely butchered his latest game.

15 years wasted you mean, Chrono trigger, cross, Xenogears is his brainchild too. All of them are meaningless now with XIV. XI's success is meaningless too.

I was pointing out he never listened to his MMO players and was dead set on writing the same overused unoriginal ideas from XI into XIV, that people didn't like. *cough cough* race set up and weak lore reason to leave of the other sexes. *cough cough* He is good at single player games sure. but in an MMO he did his own thing and never cared about his fans until he faceplanted XIV and went... "oh I should really listen to them." FINALLY!
but all of that is over and done with. Tanaka learned his lesson, he is finally implementing things that made XI unappealing to some appealing so as to widen the market. That is all I am saying, not saying he can't make a great world and put it into a single player world experience, but he never understood how to handle fan input to improve his games.

Edit: he was also one of the original creators of FF1, again I like all his past accomplishments thats why I only mentioned FFXI's timeline, because he never listened to his fans, which in an MMO you need to do.

Well Reinheart after the 2.0 free trail i'd gladly join the Sublimen. When 2.0 hits i'm going to start a petition thread to see if the player community can get Yoshi-P to bring glowing subligar into the game or give us the means to do it ourselves lol.

Blizzard started off with paid server transfers first, then came the barber shop, then came paid name changes, then came paid race and faction changes.

These things always start with baby steps, I have no problem with it personally though, guess time will tell, its fine for Yoshi to say he doesn't want it, but if Wada wants to make more money Yoshi won't have a choice.
